Riu Palace Punta Cana — Always a favorite!  This property has that “WOW” factor that our clients love!  The lobby is old-world Spanish luxury with statuary, chandeliers, marble floors and LOTS of detail.  The resort features 4 a la carte restaurants and a HUGE buffet.  There are no restrictions on how often a guest can eat in the a la carte restaurants but reservations MUST be made daily.  Just a tip — Make sure to tell clients to make their reservations early as the a la carte restaurants fill up FAST!  Or, guests can enjoy 24-hour Room Service in their bi-level Junior Suite.  The rooms are spacious and include a liquor dispenser on the wall.  They have some connecting rooms but only on request — and they are NOT guaranteed.  Very nice spa.  Another beautiful beach with great shade and wait-service.  Lots of activities.  Look for yet another NEW Palace to break ground at the end of 2010!  Wonderful resort!

Riu Bambu — Just re-opened!  Two new a la carte restaurants, a brand new water park for children, a new open air buffet/snack restaurant (Mama Juana’s) and all remodeled rooms and public areas!  The resort has added enhanced the existing pool to include an in-pool cocktail area next to the pool bar and in-pool sunning beds.  I was particularly impressed with the renovations to the theatre and the main buffet.  Both have been completely remodeled and look brand new!  The resort now offers a Family Room category.  The room consists of two double beds and a double size pull out sofa with one bathroom.  It’s a great value but a bit snug.  Lobby was completely renovated and the Kids Club was expanded.  This resort is great for families looking for a value!
