I posted a blog on Square Deals before. Since new Square Deals are always announced, and they have grown ever more popular, I thought I’d mention it again. A couple of weeks ago I booked some girls I know to go away on an Apple Vacations’ Girlfriends Getaway. I gave them pricing, recommended the best hotels, told them about trip protection, private transfers, preferred perks, optional excursions and everything I could.

They wanted it all - a great hotel, an upgraded room, private transfers, but no trip protection. I told them they needed to buy it for peace of mind. You just never know. It not only has pre - departure cancellation benefits, but it also covers you in resort. They said there would be nothing in this world that would keep them away from this trip….. Well fast forward a few weeks and it is almost time to go, and that nothing turned in to something. Something completely unexpected and totally unforeseeable happened a month before their travel date. Thankfully, they had the trip protection from Apple Vacations.

Whenever someone asks my opinion, I don’t give this as an option. I don’t feel it is. Everyone should take it. I always do. Apple Vacations Offers a few different levels of trip protection. In all of Apple Vacations’ ads, we say that your all-inclusive Apple Vacation includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, all meals, drinks, tips, transfers and more! The one word I’d like to point out is “transfers.” You may have read over it kind of quickly. As an Apple Vacations employee, and a person who has gone on many Apple Vacations over 16 years, I know I sometimes take the word “transfers” for granted. I know someone will meet me at the airport. They always do.

What is a transfer? Your transfer may be a single representative or a team of representatives. You are greeted as you exit the resort airport and directed towards the proper transportation to your hotel; and then transported to that hotel. On the journey, you are given tips for your vacation and information regarding your stay. When faced with two reasonable choices, I always base the decision on which one will be more memorable. Well, if you want me to go on vacation with your group, I am looking for the same. I don’t care if you are offering the least expensive price for this vacation, I’d pay a little extra to go away with just my wife. However, if you are offering a unique experience, something the vacation even more exciting than I could do on my own, then I am interested.

If you are going away as a group, its easy. Of course book through the Groups Department for the added benefits, but then don’t stop at price. Plan a beach party for your group. Have everyone dress in white and have the hotel light up the beach in colors, set up a buffet, a band, a bar, entertainment exclusively for your group. How amazing would it be to have an elaborate private beach party just for you and your group on a gorgeous Caribbean Beach? Its awesome, trust me, I’ve done it! If not a party, how about an excursion? Take everyone in your group Zip Lining through the jungle like Tarzan. Sounds crazy and ridiculous, Great! That means everyone will be laughing all day long and remember it always.

Life is a collection of memories, don’t offer people a cheap vacation, offer them a memory for a lifetime.
