When I visited Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun I saw a beautiful destination wedding. It was absolutely breathtaking. They had a wedding Gazebo and the reception set up right outside the lower lobby. At the end of the ceremony there was even a rainbow in the sky over the resort!

Box from the room

One of the unique things I saw at Secrets Silversands was the room service box–the “Secrets Box”. As part of the Unlimited Luxury®, Secrets offers 24-hour room service.

When you order room service the waiter can place the order in the box (from the hall). The box also has another door in the room where you can access the delivery. So they can deliver it there, and when you are done you can place the dishes back in there.

The Secrets Box offers a little extra privacy on your vacation. It is just one of the little thought out amenities Secrets Silversands had to offer.

Lots of fun things to do at Now Jade Resort in Riviera Maya.
While this was my afternoon & evening….
1 - Shopping tour in Puerto Morelos. Quaint little town with stores, restaurants and a beautiful church.
2 - Watched the World Cup at the Arenas sports bar, and it was packed!
3 - Tequila tasting.
4 - Main pool bar with Hugo and lots of new friends.
5 - Ended the night at the Mexican Fiesta - great food!

This was my son’s afternoon & evening at the Explorer’s Club…
1 - Out of the sun for a little while with games at the kids club.
2 - Pinata fun at the pool.
3 - Dinner on the beach.
4 - Roasting marshmallows on the beach.
5 - Kids movie on the beach with all his new friends.

When traveling with a 5 year old, he does not always have the tolerance for a long meal. Well the Festival buffet is a great solution for that! Here at Now Jade, the Festival Buffet provides a nice atmosphere with spectacular views and a great variety of food. But the best part about the entire restaurant (for me) is that it is ocean front. You can see the ocean no matter where you sit. They also have an inside and an outside section. So you can sit inside in the air-conditioning (which we did for breakfast–it was a already 80 degrees) or outside in the ocean breeze (which we did for dinner). My son’s favorite part? They have a kids buffet so he could see everything at his level and he could make his own selections.
