What an Apple Vacations deal!

avatar

194So a friend just called and wants to go away for a weekend in the next 2 weeks, and wants to know what I can recommend. Well I went to www.applevacations.com to look around and truly did not believe my eyes! I mean I know I see the deals every day in ads but in the context, helping a friend, I thought WOW these ARE some really, really great deals. Secrets Capri 3 nights from $699.99. That is an amazing, deluxe hotel! It has a 6 Golden Apple rating! Gran Bahia Principe Coba 3 nights from $499.99, another great and fun hotel. It has a 5 Golden Apple rating. Even once taxes are added in, it is still much less than a weekend in New York or down the New Jersey shore once you add in all the meals and entertainment. And these are nice, really nice hotels!

So even in this economy travel, even luxury travel, to Secrets Capri is within reach! You are getting much more than you pay for with these deals.

To get a great rate look for Apple Vacations leisure flights such as USA300 Airlines. Midweek travel is also usually priced slightly less. On www.applevacations.com click on “specials” at the top and select your departure city to get an overview of what’s hot from your departure city.

The two top questions I get all of the time…

100112_homepageHow do I get the best price or a “deal” out of my city, and should I book now or wait? Here is the answer. Apple Vacations, via Facebook, twitter, fax, flyer, TV, newspaper or our website, highlights what we think are our best deals. As offers come in or sell out, we update them constantly. Because of the ability to change the web so quickly, applevacations.com will have more up to date and closer to departure specials; whereas a newspaper, since it publishes so far in advance, will typically advertise dates further out.

If you want the best deal at the right price, especially if you have specific needs, call a travel agent. Let them sort through the details for you. If you are not comfortable leaving your vacation destiny in someone else’s hands, then do some research. Continue reading

Fly Free, Fly Free, Fly Free!

flyfreeWhat does that mean? Well there are a lot of Fly Free promotions out there right now, so I wanted to explain what some of them are and how they work. The first one is Apple Vacations exclusive Fly Free promotion to Cancun and Punta Cana. Everyone is looking for a deal, Apple Vacations knows that. What we have done is taken the package prices at select hotels, and reduced the price (at least) by the airfare cost already in that package. To Explain – if the package you were buying was $1,200.00 a person, and the air portion of that package was $400.00,  now the package is now $800.00 per person. So–you are Flying Free! We have done this in several cities including Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. The minimum discount in Columbus is $1,000.00 per couple, and the other cities is (minimally) $800.00 per couple. The discount is in the new package / advertised price and is automatic at the time of booking. No form to fill out, no calls to make. This Fly Free promotion you must book by 1/28! Continue reading

Holidays in Paradise

100709_holidayWhat are you doing this Holiday Season? It seems like a far off question, but if you don’t have plans, why not spend Christmas in the Caribbean, New Year’s in Mexico, Chanukah in Punta Cana, or Kwanza in Puerto Vallarta. Traveling over the holidays used to be an expensive luxury. This season there are some very competitive rates out there. I just received some specials across my desk including:

Royal Solaris in Cancun, Mexico (book by 10/13).
3nts – $799.99  (originally $1369.99)
